The ethylene in the banana will help the avocado ripen. Check it the next day. Once ripe keep the avocado refrigerated.
Start with a clean & ripe avocado. Place it on a cutting board and cut into it with a knife you hit the seed. Keeping the knife still turn the avocado./. Repeat on the other side of the avocado. Then holding one half in each hand twist each half in opposite directions until one half comes away from the seed.
